Membership Types & Application

Membership in Greater Hartford BOMA is divided into three main categories to best accommodate the industry experts we serve: Principal Members, Professional Members, and Allied Members. Before deciding which membership category you qualify for, please note that membership is held by you as an individual – not by your company. A description of each membership type is included below.

Principal Membership

Dues: $580 Annually

Principal Members are individuals whose primary purpose of business is the ownership and/or management of commercial, institutional, or multi-family buildings in the Greater Hartford area. Principal members must own, manage, plan, develop, market or lease commercial property. The Principal membership is applied to the primary member from your company, and each additional member joining under your company will be considered an Additional Principal.

Additional Principal (2nd & 3rd) Dues: $455 Annually
Additional Principal (4+) Dues: $310 Annually

Additional Principal Members are individuals from the same company that join after the primary Principal Member. Additional Principal Members are considered full Principal members and receive all membership benefits at a discounted dues rate.

Professional Membership

          Dues: $615 Annually

Professional Members are individuals who work in professional commercial real estate related fields including Architecture, Engineering, Insurance, Financial Services, and Legal Services.

Allied Membership

          Dues: $695 Annually

Allied Members are individuals representing diverse business activities related to the ownership or management interests of Principal Members. Allied Members provide products and services to the industry including but not limited to: Contracting, Consulting, Manufacturing/Distribution, Parking Operations, Cleaning Services, Security Services, HVAC/Utilities, and Restoration Services. Allied Membership is applied to the primary member from your company, with each additional member joining under your company qualifying as an Additional Allied.  Please note that at this time, we do have a waitlist for new Allied Members. If your company does not already have an existing Allied membership, please contact our Executive Office to be added to the waitlist and to receive additional information on how to skip the waitlist!
